Built-in ND filters
The XF405/XF400 is capable of a superb performance in any light. At the touch of a button, built-in ND filters (ND 1/4, ND 1/16 and ND 1/64) provide exposure control in bright light or when a wide aperture is required.
Beautiful highlights with a 9-blade iris
The lens features a 9-blade iris meaning that out of focus background ‘bokeh’ is more beautiful and circular with double the number of light beams compared to an iris with an even number of blades.
